Care Ministry

We believe that the key to Christian caring is compassion.  It is our vision that we continue in the spiritual legacy of the New Testament Church where fellowship was central as evidenced by believers assisting each other, edifying each other, sharing their possessions, and helping others discover Jesus as Lord.

Grace Diaconate and Care Committee

Caring has always been a central focus of Grace Church since its beginning, with involvement in ECHO [Ecumenical Community Helping Others], special Thanksgiving meals, meals and assistance provided for new mothers, new members, for those hospitalized, and others in need, baby and wedding showers, home visits, ride furnishings, childcare, clothes exchange/donation, and diconal ministry to needy families.  Many of these acts of kindness are sponsored and implemented by the Grace Care Committee and the Grace deacons, along with member volunteers.  Many acts of love are also performed outside of the Grace fellowship circle.

Elder/Deacon Care Areas

The Grace congregation is divided into four Shepherding Districts, namely – Northwest, Southwest, Northeast, and Southeast; each having an Elder and Deacon to provide, with the Pastor, spiritual care, support, and direction to the Grace family.

Christian Counseling

Pastor Van Dyken provides pastoral care and is glad to receive inquiries.  Please direct telephone inquiries to the pastor at the church office.

"He has showed you O Man, what is good.  And what does the

Lord require of you?  To act justly and to love mercy and

to walk humbly with your God.”  (Micah 6:8)
